COVID-19 pandemic also known as the corona virus, it is an ongoing
pandemic. It severely affects the respiratory system which mostly leads to
death. The outbreak of this virus was identified in Wuhan China in December
2019. World health organization declared the
outbreak a public health emergency of international concern on 30th January
2020, and a pandemic on 11th march 2020.
According to Wikipedia, as of May 2020 more than 3 billion cases have
been reported in over 187 countries and territories, more than 269,000 deaths
have been confirmed and about 1.28 million people have recovered. According to
official reports, the largest numbers of confirmed cases are in the United
States, Italy, Spain, and France.
The virus primarily spreads between people with close contact through
small droplets by coughing sneezing and talking.
At the moment, many countries have taken measures, some of them strict —
to slow down the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. While
some of these countries are now considering whether to ease the measures,
others have already decided to keep them in place over the days ahead.
Educational institutes such as, schools, colleges and universities have
been closed either national wide or local wide, because of this most of the
student population were badly affected.
