Life is beautiful

Once upon a time there was a very old man who lived in a small village. He was one of the most unfortunate person in the world.

The whole village was tired of him because he was always in a bad mood and was always complaining about his misfortune.

Day by day he became more and more moody and his words became poisonous by the day. His bad luck became so contagious that nobody even dared to come near him and if somebody did come near him, it was evident that they had the worst day ever.

Then the day came when he turned eighty years old and that day everybody started hearing rumors about him that “the old man is happy as he ever could be !, he is not even complaining about a single thing”

Then the old man was asked, “Why are you so happy today? Is it because it’s your 80^th birthday?

The old man answered “no, nothing like that”. The villagers asked, “Then what are you so happy about?”

The old man said that all these years I have been chasing happiness; I decided to stop and live the best life possible with what I have.

The villagers question him again “what do you even have?” Then he says “I have the biggest wealth in the world and that is you people”

The villagers were amazed by the words of the old man and from that day as expected, he was just like a lucky charm. People would always seek advice from him, have fun and spend time with him, you name it!

So what we learn from this story is that we should be happy with what we have . but i am not saying that you should be happy with ONLY what you have , you can achieve your dreams by doing hard work. hard work always pays off !. make your dreams to plans of what you want to be when you grow up and remember that you cannot be happy if you always try to chase happiness because life is full of up and downs.
